Orlando, FL – Who doesn’t love sunny Orlando? We sure do! This is not our first rodeo in the EdTech conference circuit, however there were a few remarkable differences between this trade show and others in years past. FETC did not disapoint.
For starters, the Squigl team has been involved in Chief Learning Officer exchanges, premiere #EdTech events like eLearning Guild’s DEVLEARN and the Association for Talent Development International Conference & Expo. We have also presented many times at various Microsoft for Education events over the years.
However!
We’ve never been fortunate enough to attend FETC, the Future of Education Technology show, until now. So of course we had to ask a few of our friends to pitch in. We would like to take this opportunity to thank a few of our partners.
First and foremost, Laura Healy. Laura is an educator and Media Technology Specialist at Schuyler-Colfax Middle School in Wayne, NJ.
Laura prepared a one of a kind presentation for us (powered by Squigl!) which captivated educators, technology coaches, and media specialists from all backgrounds.
Here is her presentation, approx. 3 minutes running time:
We were so pleased with our booth design we had to grab this video to share with our friends and colleagues who could not attend the event. The 1-minute looping signage reel was handcrafted by the Squiglmester himself, Jamey Stewart who runs Mega Media Factory, one of our key alliances.
Squigl has many outstanding champions and partnerships in the Education Technology industry including enterprises like Microsoft, Wacom, and Google. We have also contributed in meaningful trade publications lately including McGraw Hill’s Enterprise Edition, CIOReview, Forbes, and the Microsoft Azure Marketplace blog.
Nothing could have prepared us for THIS, however…
As usual, our art department did an outstanding job extending thanks and spreading charm through the caricature offer. REMINDER… Keep and redeem Your Caricatures for special incentive in years ahead!

Please reach out if you or your institution is interested in a demo or pilot / trial license of Squigl. Mention this article or that you met us at FETC (or, better yet, show us your caricature!!) and we will ensure your school is taken care of with the utmost service and attention.
